Mandatory legal information for distance contracts and electronic commerce of the company Schäfer + Peters France
The company Schäfer + Peters France, 3 rue Charlie Chaplin, Z.A.C de la Croix-Bonnet, 78390 Bois d`Arcy, France, operates a website at the address webshop.schaefer-peters.fr, through which entrepreneurs can purchase primarily fastening parts. The offer is not directed at consumers. A consumer is any natural person entering into a legal transaction for purposes that cannot be predominantly attributed to their commercial or independent professional activities. Insofar as the company Schäfer + Peters France provides services under distance contracts, it is required to inform entrepreneurs as follows:

The contract can be concluded only in German. Our online offer (webshop.schaefer-peters.fr) is directed at natural or legal persons or partnerships with legal capacity who, when concluding the legal transaction, are acting in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity, as well as at legal persons under public law or special funds under public law whose registered office is in Germany.The products and services presented on our website, in our commercial brochures or our other documents are without obligation to purchase and instead constitute an invitation to the customer to propose a purchase contract, unless an offer drawn up in a visibly personalised manner for a particular customer already exists.
The customer becomes legally bound when they submit to the ordering process provided on the shop.schaefer-peters.com site.
The acceptance of the purchase contract proposal by Schäfer + Peters France takes place by e-mail, telephone, fax or in any other written form, but may also occur at the latest at the time the goods are dispatched.
An order comprises the following technical steps:
a. Log on to web shop
The customer can only access the web shop after they have been notified in writing and/or by e-mail, phone or fax that web shop access details have been created for them. The customer is then provided with the access data that they can use to log on to the webshop.schaefer-peters.fr page in the "Account" (my account) area. The customer does not have a legal right to this access data. As such, Schäfer + Peters can deny access or revoke it at any time.
a. Log on to the web shop
The customer may use the web shop from the moment access has been granted to them in writing and/or by e-mail, telephone or fax. The customer then receives login credentials enabling them to log on to the webshop.schaefer-peters.fr site, in the "My account" area. Access is not a right; Schäfer + Peters may refuse it at any time or terminate it at a later date.
b. Ordering process
As soon as Schäfer + Peters France creates the customer as a user and enables their account, the customer can log in with their credentials, search for goods on the site, and place them in the shopping cart by clicking the "Add to cart" button.
The customer can view the contents of their shopping cart at any time by clicking the "Your cart" button. The customer has, at any time, the option of removing the selected goods from their cart by clicking the "Remove" button (appearing as a cross : x), or of changing their quantity. To begin the ordering process, the customer clicks the "Next step" button until arriving at point 3, the "Order" page.
During the ordering process, the customer must provide information about the desired payment method, as well as, depending on the case, about themselves/their company, their billing address and their delivery address. On the last page, they still have the option of carrying out a final check of the products to be ordered and, where applicable, of making changes and corrections, for example in the event of input errors. To do so, it is possible to return to the shopping cart by clicking the "Back" button.
The customer completes the ordering process only after clicking the "Order and pay" button and thereby proposes to Schäfer + Peters France the conclusion of a purchase contract.
Since prices may change between the moment you click the "Add to cart" button and the moment you place a paid order, we draw your attention to the fact that the prices displayed are valid for the purchase contract offer before the end of the ordering process.
Before placing a legally binding order, the customer may interrupt the ordering process at any time by closing the web page.
c. Order confirmation
Pursuant to article 312i para. 1 sentence 3 of the German Civil Code, in the electronic commerce contract the company Schäfer + Peters France is required to confirm receipt of orders to the customer without delay by electronic message. This order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the customer's purchase contract proposal. In this confirmation e-mail, the company Schäfer + Peters France provides the customer in written form with additional information about their order, as well as the following documents, insofar as they exist and are relevant to the specific case:
- the terms of the contract including the General Terms and Conditions of Sale;
- the mandatory legal information for distance contracts and electronic commerce contracts ;
- the Privacy Policy.
d. Acceptance of the purchase contract proposal
The acceptance of the purchase contract proposal by Schäfer + Peters France takes place by e-mail, telephone, fax or in any other written form, but may also occur at the latest at the time the goods are dispatched.
The text of the contract is stored by Schäfer + Peters France for internal use. No permanent storage is carried out for the customer. The text of the contract is presented to the customer once again on screen immediately after the order is placed, so that they have the option of saving it in a reproducible format and/or printing it. 3. Right of withdrawal

6. Specific costs generated by the means of distance communication used for the conclusion of the contract
